Group therapy
Skills Based Groups are designed to utilize research based techniques proven to help you recognize and understand what gets in the way of being effective and living a valued life. To accomplish this you need to know what to change and how to do so, that is where the skills training comes in.
We incorporate the teaching of specific "how to approaches" in a supportive environment. You will have opportunities to explore and find the best matched approaches for your needs. To ensure these skills work effectively outside the therapy setting you will be given skills to practice in real life, and opportunities to discuss your successes, or get help to remove the barriers.
